Ezra's life didn't start in New York, but instead began in a small town in West Virginia. Now when we're talking West Virginia, we're not talking trailers, accents, shot guns and inbreds. Just a small town, with believe it or not, intelligent and well educated people. But unfortunately for Ezra's parents this just wasn't what they wanted. To Ezra it wasn't that big of a deal really, she was five years old and could really care less about what happened so long as she got to play with her barbies. Ezra's mother was a beautician while her father was a chef who wanted to cook in better restaurants than an Applebees. Having heard about the beaches and the ports of Longport, they just had to be a part of it. So, the White family had packed up all of their belongings and move. They found their place in a small neighborhood, and adapted quickly. In school she made friends, and it seemed like everything for them was going to be happy. Years progressed and Ezra slowly began to grow up. Somewhere along the line Ezra realized she had a rather high interest in music. She and her father had always spent time playing guitar, and that is where she first realized she loved to sing and loved to play music. In no time Ezra was taking the guitar and piano and making music, and singing. Her friends had caught onto this as well, and this was when Ezra had joined her first band. It wasn't anything serious, but to Ezra it still meant the world. Needless to say, this was what she wanted to do with her life. Despite her weird aspirations, Ezra's grades never slacked as she always kept on time with her homework and such. Unfortunately though Ezra never moved on to college, nor did she really look into the idea at all. Even though her friends had moved on with life, Ezra had stuck back, her mind still on music. It seemed as if she would never let the idea go, as she was incredibly determined that one day she would get a record deal. Needless to say, she had taken matters into her own hands and had began recording on her own. On the side however, Ezra had decided to leave Longport and moved out of the state, and to New York City, where she bought herself an apartment and found employment in a record store not too far from her new home. And this was how Ezra made her life, going to work and when she returned home, recording music. It was a sort of cycle she had taken on, though this wasn't to say that she didn't ever leave the apartment with her friends because that would have driven Ezra insane, but the aspiration still stuck, even now.
